Health and Wellness Coach

The TCC®U HWC Training Program is an Approved Health and Wellness Coach Training & Education Program by the National Board for Health & Wellness Coaching (NBHWC). Graduates of this program are eligible to sit for the National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coaching exam

TCCU’s HWC training is a health and wellness training program with an emphasis on chronic pain.

You will learn motivational interviewing(MI) skills from chronic pain coaches that bring current real world experience to the classroom. Each class is kept small to facilitate group discussion and interaction. This is an online course designed to prepare students for the National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC) exam.

Upon graduation, you will receive the Certification of Certified Health and Wellness Coach (CHWC) for successfully completing the requirements for TCCU, which includes training in chronic pain coaching and Motivational Interviewing.

The course is entirely online and requires a phone and reliable internet connection for all classes.

Advanced Pain Coach Training

This program will dive deep into what it means to be a pain coach.

It’s an intensive 12 week program that is a mix of education and practical application of chronic pain coaching that meets twice a week.

The first class each week (2 hours long) will be a structured class that covers coaching and pain topics.

The second class every week (1 hour long) will be group coaching training and will be student led.

Upon graduation you will receive a Chronic Pain Management Coach (CPMC) certification. 

Development of skills will include how to effectively coach one on one with a pain client and how to lead groups of pain clients with plenty of role play with mentored feedback.

The course is entirely online and requires a phone and reliable internet connection for all classes.
